Our concept

La Huerta, located inside Casa Babel Hotel next to the charming Al Fresco courtyard, first opened its doors on June 1st, 2007 with a clear mission: to celebrate the most authentic flavors of the region.

Driven by the manager’s passion for gastronomy, the restaurant has specialized in the area’s most representative culinary traditions, with a strong focus on fresh salads, Valencian rice dishes, fish, seafood, and homemade desserts.

La Huerta welcomes guests into an authentic space with a truly distinctive concept. Here, our Chef invites diners on a culinary journey through time, reinterpreting renowned dishes inspired by the techniques and flavors of ancestral cuisine, all served in an elegant, refined, and warm atmosphere.

The restaurant is particularly known for its expertise in Valencian rice dishes, ranging from a black creamy rice with pigeon to refined creations such as foie marble. Our fish and seafood are delivered daily, ensuring exceptional freshness and product quality.

The experience concludes with a selection of desserts entirely prepared in-house, including highlights such as caramelized Tarte Tatin, Flan de Calatrava, and carefully crafted homemade compotes.
